Aims

The Conference focuses on various aspects of mathematical modelling and usage of numerical methods in solving modern problems of science and engineering. It aims, in particular, at fostering a cooperation among practitioners and theoreticians in this field.

The Basic Topics

The scientific program includes invited plenary talks (40 min) and contributed talks (20 min). We also invite participants to organize mini-symposiums. The format for a mini-symposium might be a principal lecture and a number of communications of 20 minutes given by the other speakers. The mini-symposia will be scheduled in parallel sessions.

Conference Materials

The selected papers of the MMA2017 Conference will be published in Vol.23 of "Mathematical Modelling and Analysis" (The Baltic Journal on Mathematical Applications, Numerical Analysis and Differential Equations), http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/tmma/. All papers will be peer-reviewed.

Visa

Nationals of the member states of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and any third-country national who is a holder of a residence permit of a Schengen state do not need a visa to enter Lithuania.

Registration and payment

The ordinary registration fee is 250 EUR and the registration fee for doctoral students is 200 EUR.
It covers the abstract volume, 5 meals, welcome party, conference dinner, coffee breaks and excursion.

The registration fee for accompanying persons is 100 EUR.
