Aims

The Conference focuses on various aspects of mathematical modelling and usage of numerical methods in solving modern problems of science and engineering. It aims, in particular, at fostering a cooperation among practitioners and theoreticians in this field.

The Basic Topics

Analysis of numerical methods for solving problems of mathematical physics;
Application of numerical methods to industrial and engineering problems;
Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems;
Analysis and applications of ODE and PDE problems;
Parallel algorithms and parallel computing;
Deep learning and applications
Scientific computation;
Financial mathematics and mathematics in economics;
Applied linear algebra and number theory

The scientific program includes invited talks (30 min).

Conference Materials

The selected papers of the MMA2022 Conference will be published in Vol.28 of "Mathematical Modelling and Analysis" (The Baltic Journal on Mathematical Applications, Numerical Analysis and Differential Equations), https://journals.vgtu.lt/index.php/MMA . All papers will be peer-reviewed.

Registration and payment

The ordinary registration fee is 340 EUR and the registration fee for doctoral students is 300 EUR. It covers the abstract volume, 5 meals, welcome party, conference dinner, coffee breaks and excursion. The registration fee for accompanying persons is 180 EUR. It covers 5 meals, welcome party, conference dinner and excursion.

Accommodation

Deadlines

Registration and abstract submission: April 10, 2022. Notification of acceptance: April 15, 2022.
