Aims
The Conference focuses on various aspects of mathematical modelling and usage of numerical methods in solving modern problems of science and engineering. It aims, in particular, at fostering a cooperation among practitioners and theoreticians in this field.The Basic Topics
- Analysis of numerical methods for solving problems of mathematical physics;
- Application of numerical methods to industrial and engineering problems;
- Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems;
- Analysis and applications of ODE and PDE problems;
- Parallel algorithms and parallel computing;
- Deep learning and applications;
- Scientific computation;
- Financial mathematics and mathematics in economics;
- Applied linear algebra and number theory.
If due to COVID19 restrictions some participants can not attend the conference in-person, we will consider alternatives such as online sessions.

Conference Materials
The selected papers of the MMA2020 Conference will be published in Vol.27 of "Mathematical Modelling and Analysis" (The Baltic Journal on Mathematical Applications, Numerical Analysis and Differential Equations), https://journals.vgtu.lt/index.php/MMA. All papers will be peer-reviewed.Conference Venue

Nationals of the member states of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and any third-country national who is a holder of a residence permit of a Schengen state do not need a visa to enter Lithuania.Registration and payment
The ordinary registration fee is 310 EUR and the registration fee for doctoral students is 250 EUR. It covers the abstract volume, 5 meals, welcome party, conference dinner, coffee breaks and excursion.
The registration fee for accompanying persons is 130 EUR. It covers 5 meals, welcome party, conference dinner and excursion.
Early fee until May 1, 2021.
Late fee from 2021.05.02 to 2021.05.20: Ordinary participant 360 EUR, PhD students 280 EUR, accompanying person 150 EUR.
